Todd Plimpton was a 2014 candidate for the Sixth Judicial District Court in Nevada. He was seeking to replace retiring Judge Richard A. Wagner.[1]

Plimpton ran for election to the Sixth Judicial District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on June 10, 2014, receiving 30.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Kevin L. Pasquale and Jim C. Shirley.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 46.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Jim C. Shirley. [1][2] 

Education

Plimpton received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada in 1987 and his J.D. degree from the Willamette Law School in 1991.[3]

Career

Plimpton has practiced law for twenty-three years in the areas of private practice, as a city attorney, as an investigative attorney for the Judicial Ethics Commission, and as a clerk for the district court and for the Nevada Attorney General's Office.[4]
