Three of the seven seats on the Granite School District school board were up for general election on November 8, 2016. Todd Zenger ran unopposed and won the Precinct 1 seat after incumbent Dan Lofgren did not run for re-election and candidate Sjaanie Olds withdrew from the race. Precinct 2 and 4 incumbents, Connie Anderson and Sarah Meier, also ran unopposed and won re-election to their seats.[1]
