Toledo Income Tax Allocation, Issue 1 (September 2009)
A Toledo Income Tax Allocation, Issue 1 ballot proposal was on the September 15, 2009 ballot in Lucas County for voters in the City of Toledo.
There is already a 3/4 cent income tax in Toledo. If Issue 1 passed, the way the tax is allocated would have changed so that half the tax will go to police, fire and other safety department responsibilities, and one-half will go to the Toledo General Fund. The measure was defeated.[1]
