Biography
Tom Bailey served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971. He earned a high school diploma from South Bakersfield High School and graduated from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington in 1993. His career experience includes being retired.[1]

He previously served as a member of the Libertarian Party of North Carolina Executive Committee and as Chairman of the LPNC Legal Action Committee. In that role, he helped lead the federal lawsuit McLoughlin v. Marsh, which sought to expand ballot access and protect fair election processes.
His campaign focuses on protecting individual liberty, ensuring transparent government, and defending the rights of voters. Drawing on military service and years of political leadership, he seeks to bring an independent voice to Congress committed to constitutional principles and electoral fairness.- Restore the voting rights of citizens to put control of their government back in the hands of the people.
- Major federal tax reform limiting the federal government to tax only state governments, removing the federal government from the lives of individual people.
- Restoring the Bill of Rights with an emphasis on due process.
