The city of St. Louis, Missouri, held elections for Board of Aldermen on April 7, 2015. A primary election took place on March 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 2, 2015.[1]

In the Democratic primary election for Ward 24, incumbent Scott Ogilvie defeated Tom Bauer. Peter Schumaker ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Ogilvie defeated Schumaker in the general election on April 7.[2][3]

2005 Recall

In 2005, voters in the 24th Ward organized a recall petition, which garnered a total of 2,078 signatures. City officials verified that 1,749 were from residents of the 24th Ward. The minimum number of valid signatures required to trigger a recall vote was 1,684.[7] The St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners arranged for a recall election on September 20th, 2005.[8]
