Tom Butler (Republican Party) is a member of the Alabama State Senate, representing District 2. He assumed office on November 7, 2018. His current term ends on November 4, 2026.
Butler (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Alabama State Senate to represent District 2. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Butler is a former Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the District 2 from 1994 to 2010. Previously, he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1982 to 1994. In 1991, he served as the Senate Majority leader.
Biography
Butler earned his degrees from the University of Alabama and Auburn University.
