Tom Campbell (California)
Thomas J. "Tom" Campbell (born August 14, 1952) is a Republican politician and professor from the state of California. Campbell is a former member of the California State Senate, a former United States Congressman from California, a former California State Finance Director. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago, where his faculty advisor was Milton Friedman. Campell was an announced candidate for Governor of California in 2010, but withdrew and entered the Senate race instead. He ran in the Republican primary against State Assemblyman Chuck DeVore and former CEO of HP Carly Fiorina, but lost.[1]

2016 presidential endorsement
