Tom Collins
Tom Collins was a member of the Clark County Commission in Nevada, representing District B. He assumed office in 2005. He left office in 2015.
Collins (Democratic Party) ran for election for Governor of Nevada. He lost in the Democratic primary on June 14, 2022.
Collins was a candidate for Ward 3 representative on the North Las Vegas City Council in Nevada. He was defeated in the primary election on April 4, 2017. Although city council elections in North Las Vegas are officially nonpartisan, Collins was listed by the Clark County Democrats as a Democratic candidate in 2017.[1]
Collins is also a former member of the Nevada State Assembly, serving District 1 from 1993 to 2003.[2]
Biography
Tom Collins was born in San Francisco, California. Collins graduated from Western High School.[3] His career experience includes working as the principal of Collins Consulting LLC, a lineman, and an electrical contractor. Collins is affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.[3][4]
