Tom Crawford
Tom Crawford (born November 8th, 1986) was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 15 of the Michigan State Senate. He ran unsuccessfully for District 44 of the Michigan House of Representatives in 2012.
Biography
Crawford has worked as a body shop assistant and internet team assistant at Sellers Buick GMC. He has volunteered at the Milford Library and Kensington Metro Park. From 2006-2013, he worked at Meijer as a utility worker.[1]

Elections for the Michigan State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Michael D. Smith defeated Tom Crawford in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Mike Kowall defeated Matt Maddock and Ron Molnar in the Republican primary. Kowall defeated Smith in the general election.[2][3][4][5]

Crawford ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 44. He defeated Mark Venie in the August 7 Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Eileen Kowall in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
