|- Government regulation can be a major impediment to productivity and to competition. We need to rely more on market forces and less on government. Nonprofit organizations receive millions of dollars in State Government funding. Government should not pick winners and losers.
- State government should scale back on the creation of new bureaucratic jobs on the state level. There should be an audit, much like the GAO on the federal level, of duplicate or overlapping state agency services. Long term state legislators create jobs or funding for their own self interest. Our representative should focus on how to help put forth community interests, before their own self interests.
- Individual freedom is the foundation of our bill of rights in the constitution. Freedom includes second ammendment rights, the right to life, freedom of speech and association, and a right to participate in secure elections. I will stand firmly behind constitutional principles both on the federal and state level. I will expand your freedom to do with your property what you will. Have municipalities, school districts and counties make decisions without state overreach. I will cut taxes to let you make decisions of who wins and loses in a capitalist ecconomy. I will represent the interests of district 67 over any of my own intersts. I will be your full time legislator.
Shrinking the size and influence of state government
Reforming centrally assesed properties to lower property taxes in rural Utah.
Reforming JRI to allow judges and prosecutors more tools to deal with repeat and violent offenders.
Eliminating the food tax.
Education funding reform for rural schools. Eliminating NESS funding in favor of a true weighted pupil unit that is double for single districts located in Counties classified 4-6.
Preserving 2nd amendment rights including hunting rights
Protecting the right to life of the unborn
Protect out Watersheds and our local control of our water shares under our state constitutional rights.
Protect our access to public lands
I hope to be as dedicated and have the same work ethic as my father as I serve as your legislator.
Constitution of the United States
Preserving and protecting constitutional rights both on the state and federal level.
Scaling back state agencies and quit taking taxpayers hard earned money for what I believe is best.

What type of legislation? This is the key question.
My oldest served honorably in the Navy for 6 years and now serves in the National Guard of Utah as a SIGNT 35p linguist.
My second son serves his community on the DUI task force and SWAT team for the Utah Highway Patrol.
My youngest son serves as a Southeastern Regional Manager for the Utah Farm Bureau, serving farmer and ranching interests in Utah.
The lead character overcomes circumstances and learns to sacrifice for the betterment of those around him. It was a personal choice to not succumb to his circumstances but to work hard, overcome, rise above and sacrifice for a greater goal than he himself could ever dream of accomplishing.

I have served as the Emery County Republican Chair. I have been elected and served as President of the Board for our Coop Emerytelcom. I have served on several community boards and as a city councilman.
As a member of the State Republican cenral committee for over 6 years I have built these relationships. As county chair I have fostered the relationships between elected officials at many levels of our federal system from City to the national level.
Think about the hopelessness because all this man saw was a government that takes what he earns. His hopelessness caused apathy. Yet, if he felt he might have some small voice then he wanted to try and participate. I want to foster hope. I want to be a voice for those who feel fleeced by our state institutions.
"All persons have the inherent and inalienable right to enjoy and defend their lives and liberties; to acquire, possess and protect property; to worship according to the dictates of their consciences; to assemble peaceably, protest against wrongs, and petition for redress of grievances; to communicate freely their thoughts and opinions, being responsible for the abuse of that right."
