Tom J. Hanlon
Tom John Hanlon was a candidate for the Pasco County Court of Florida in 2012.[1]
2012 election
Hanlon was defeated by Frank I. Grey in the general election on Nov. 6, 2012, receiving 46.1% of the vote. He previously received 31.4% of the vote in the primary election on Aug. 14, 2012.[2][3][1]

Education
Hanlon received his B.S. degree from Florida State University and his J.D. degree from the South Texas College of Law.[4]
Career
Hanlon began his career in 1981 as a bailiff for the Harris County Sheriff's Office in Texas. He then served as a judicial aide for Florida's Second District Court of Appeal before starting his own law firm in 1983. He worked in that capacity until 1997, when he became a Senior Assistant Public Defender in the 6th Judicial Circuit. At the time of his candidacy, he held this position.[4][5]
