Murphy (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives to represent District 9B. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Tom Murphy grew up in Scott County and lives in Underwood, Minnesota. Murphy earned a B.S. in marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. His career experience includes working as a sales representative for an agriculture products company, owning a dairy supply sales business, and owning and operating MinStart Ag Products. Murphy became a township supervisor for Maine Township and joined the board of directors for the Park Region Telephone Company.[1][2]
