Tom R. Cornish
Tom R. Cornish was the chief judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Oklahoma. He was appointed to the court on February 7, 1996.[1][2] Cornish retired on September 1, 2021, and passed away on February 2, 2022.[3]
Education
Judge Cornish received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.[4] He also received a Master of Laws degree from the University of Virginia.[5]
Career
From 1977 to 1984, Cornish worked with the Oklahoma Court of Appeals where he worked with commercial litigation.[5]
