2012
Riggs ran in the 2012 election for Washington House of Representatives, District 10-Position 2. Riggs and Dave Hayes (R) ran unopposed in the August 7 blanket primary election. Riggs was defeated by Hayes defeated in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Riggs and Barbara Bailey (R) ran unopposed in the August 17 primary. He was defeated by Bailey in the November 2 general election.[4]
