Tom Sincic
Tom Sincic was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 45 of the Oregon House of Representatives.
Biography
Sincic graduated from Michigan State University and Yale University. His professional experience includes working as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the past 32 years, as an adjunct professor at Concordia University School of Nursing in Community Health for six years and as an adjunct faculty at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine for fifteen years.[1]
Elections
2014
Elections for the Oregon House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Barbara Smith Warner defeated Tom Sincic in the Democratic primary. She also ran as a write-in candidate on the Republican party and Working Families Party tickets. Smith Warner was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4]

Sincic and his wife, Sally, have two adult children. He is a member of Oregon Nurses Association and AFL-CIO. He served as president of the statewide Oregon School Based Health Care Network for four years and as past president of the Northeast United Soccer Club for five years.[1]
