Tom Stevens
Tom Stevens (Democratic Party) is a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Washington-Chittenden District. He assumed office in 2009. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Stevens (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Vermont House of Representatives to represent Washington-Chittenden District. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Stevens earned his BFA in Theater from Boston University.
Stevens has worked as an Education Director for the Waterbury Congregational Church. He has also worked as the Executive Director of the Vermont Alliance for Arts Education. In addition, he worked for QuarryWorks Theater as Director/Production Coordinator.
He previously served as Chair of the Waterbury Selectboard.

Elections for the Vermont House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Washington-Chittenden has two state representatives. Incumbents Rebecca Ellis and Tom Stevens were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Jerry Mullen ran as an independent candidate.[5][6][7][8] Ellis and Stevens defeated Mullen in the general election.[9]

Stevens won re-election to the Washington-Chittenden 1 District in 2010. He ran against Sue Minter (D), Tom Vickery (I), and Theresa Wood (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[10]
