Tom Thomas represented Trustee Area 5 on the Lake Elsinore Unified School District Board of Trustees in California. He was first elected to the board in November 2006 and served until his death in 2015.[1]
Thomas ran unopposed and won re-election by default in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2][3]

This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Stan Crippen, Heidi Matthies Dodd and Tom Thomas from Trustee Areas 1, 3 and 5, respectively, were re-election by default.[4]
Funding
Thomas had not reported any contributions or expenditures for his 2014 campaign to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters as of October 27, 2014.[5]
