Tom Tillberry
Tom Tillberry (b. May 4, 1964) is a former Democratic-Farmer Labor member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 51B from 2007 to 2013.
Tillberry received his M.A. in Counseling and B.A. in political science from Winona State University. He is a teacher and counselor at Roseville Area High School, and previously worked as Admissions Counselor at Winona State University.
Prior to joining the House, Tillberry was Treasurer of the Fridley School Board from 2005-2006. He is a member of Dads Make a Difference, co-founder of DCCST, a Union Negotiator with the Roseville Chapter of Education Minnesota, a delegate to the National Education Association, and has been an Interfaith Medical Missioner to Nigeria/Guatemala/Haiti. He is married and has 2 children.[1]

Tillberry won re-election to the District 51B seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He defeated Dale Helm (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]

Taxpayers League of Minnesota
The Taxpayers League of Minnesota, a Minnesota-based taxpayer advocacy organization, releases a legislative scorecard for the Minnesota House of Representatives and Minnesota State Senate once a year. The scorecard gives each legislator a score based on how they voted in the prior legislative term on tax issues and “their efforts to balance the state budget without a tax increase.” The organization also compiles a legislator’s individual "Lifetime Score."[5]
