Tom Verge

Tom Verge is a judge of the Skagit County District Court in Washington. He was appointed to the court by the Skagit County Board of Commissioners on November 2, 2015, on a 2-1 vote. He took office in January 2016.[1]
Verge won election to a full term in 2016. He was unopposed in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Education
Verge received a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound in 1988.[1]
Career
From 2005 until his judicial appointment, Verge was a commissioner at the Whatcom County Superior Court. He previously served as a prosecuting attorney in Skagit County.[1]

Washington held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. Candidates for district and superior court seats had to file for election by May 20, 2016. Primary elections were held on August 2, 2016, for six seats where more than two candidates filed for election. Incumbent Tom Verge ran unopposed in the Skagit County District Court nonpartisan general election for Position 3.[2]
