Tommie Sappington was a judge for the Montague County Court in Montague County, Texas. He was appointed to the court in July 2010 by the Montague County Commissioners to fill the vacancy created by the death of Ted H. Winn.[1] He was elected to the court in November 2010.[2] Sappington retired from the bench in October 2014.[3]
Career
Before he became a county judge, Sappington served as a commissioner for Montague County.[4]
Elections
2010
Sappington was elected to the Montague County Court. He defeated Lynn Gray in the general election with 62% of the vote.[2]
