Tommy Bosquez was the at-Large Place 7 representative on the Bryan Independent School District Board of Trustees in Texas from November 2012 until his death on September 13, 2015. Bosquez was seeking another term in the general election on November 3, 2015. Due to Texas state law, his name could not be removed from the ballot and he could have won the race. Tommy Bosquez lost the general election on November 3, 2015.

Two seats on the Bryan Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 3, 2015. The seats of Single Member District 4 incumbent Kelli Levey and At-Large Place 7 incumbent Tommy Bosquez were up for election.[1] Bosquez filed for re-election and faced challenger Mark McCall, who won the seat. Levey did not file for re-election and two challengers sought the open seat: Jimmie Arnold and Ruthie Waller.[2] Waller was successful in securing the District 4 seat.
