Tommy Brewer
Tommy Brewer (Democratic Party) is a judge for the 7th Subcircuit of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. His current term ends on December 2, 2030.
Brewer ran for re-election for the 7th Subcircuit judge of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
He was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court on September 13, 2010, to replace Cheryl A. Starks.[1]
Biography
Tommy Brewer earned an undergraduate degree from Williams College, going on to receive his J.D. from Northwestern University.[2] Prior to his judicial appointment, Brewer worked as a prosecutor and defense attorney.[2]

Brewer was elected without opposition on November 6, 2012. He previously won the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, defeating Roxanne L. Rochester with 61.1% of the vote.[3][4][5][6]
