Tommy Smith is the District 3 member of the Laurel County Board of Education in Kentucky. He joined the board in 2007. He won re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1]

Smith graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1970. He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency. He also served as a teacher and coach.[1]
