Antonietta Boucher
Antonietta Boucher (Republican Party) (also known as Toni) was a member of the Connecticut State Senate, representing District 26. She left office in 2019.
Boucher (Republican Party, Independent Party) ran for election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 26. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Boucher was also a member of the Wilton Board of Selectmen. She was a member of the Wilton Board of Education from 1986 to 1994 and was Chair from 1991 to 1993. From 1995 to 1996 she was a member of the Connecticut State Board of Education. She served in the Connecticut State House of Representatives from 1996 to 2008. She served as House Assistant Minority Leader in 2001, 2003, and from 2005 to 2008.
Biography
Boucher attended both Commonfund Endowment Management Institute of Harvard Business School and American University. She earned her MBA in International Marketing from the University of Connecticut Business School. Her professional experience includes working as an Executive for UAL/Westin, Translator, Secondary Education Language Teacher, Marketing Director for Mentus and MB Systems, Marketing Executive for General Electric and Director of the Commonfund Institute.

Elections for the Connecticut State Senate consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Phil Sharlach was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Toni Boucher was unopposed in the Republican primary. Boucher defeated Sharlack in the general election.[2][3]

Boucher ran for re-election in 2014. Before announcing her plans to seek re-election on March 11, 2014, Boucher explored a bid for Governor of Connecticut.[4][5] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.

Boucher ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut State Senate District 26. Boucher ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012. She defeated Carolanne Curry (D) and write-in Green Party candidate Remy Chevalier in the general election on November 6, 2012.[6][7][8]
