Tony Bisignano (Democratic Party) is a member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 15. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. His current term ends on January 2, 2027.
Bisignano (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Iowa State Senate to represent District 15. He is on the ballot in the Republican primary on June 2, 2026.[source]
Biography
Tony Bisignano was born in Des Moines, Iowa. Bisignano graduated from Dowling Catholic High School. His career experience includes working as the human resources director for Polk County, Iowa. Bisignano founded the Nick Bisignano Foundation and served as the president of a local AFSCME union.[1]

Elections for the Iowa State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Tony Bisignano defeated Nathan Blake and Ned F. Chiodo in the Democratic primary and faced Jonathan Lochman (R), who filed to run on July 25, 2014, and Jim Bollard (I) in the general election.[2][3][4] Bisignano defeated both challengers in the general election.[5]
