Campaign themes
2014
Crocamo's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[2]
Improving Education in the Commonwealth
- Excerpt: "PA is the only state in the nation without an extraction tax for gas and oil. We didn’t have one for coal either—mine owners got rich, devastated the environment and abandoned the communities and the state. We can’t permit that to happen again, but the policies of the current representative in the 98th promote that economic and environmental pillaging, just like the irresponsible giveaways to King Coal."
Putting Pennsylvania Back to Work
- Excerpt: "Encourage investment in new technologies. Encourage innovation through cooperation between business, industry, and the state’s universities and colleges."
- Excerpt: "Lower the corporate tax rate and close corporate tax loopholes, including the Delaware loophole that allows 70% of companies that do business in PA not to pay corporate net income taxes."
Fixing Our Infrastructure is Critical
- Excerpt: "Promote public private partnerships to address infrastructure needs."
Affordable Healthcare for All Pennsylvanians
- Excerpt: "Expand Medicaid, promote incentives for doctors to remain in or relocate to PA."
