Dupre ran for election to the 13th Judicial District.
Primary: He was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 24.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Gilbert Aucoin and Gary J. Ortego.

Dupre received a B.S. from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and a J.D. from Louisiana State University.[3]
Career
Dupre and his wife are partners in the law firm Dupre-Meyers, LLC. He previously worked in the firms Ortego and Dupre and Soileau, Coreil and Dupre.[4]
