Biography
Tony Jacobelli was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Jacobelli earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1983 and a graduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1992. His career experience includes working as an engineer.[1]

|In general I believe the less government the better, but I understand certain people will need certain help at certain times in their lives. I am an engineer who spent 30 years in private industry designing, fabricating, and fixing things to improve people’s capability and productivity.
I intend to bring that same attitude and ability to my role as County Commissioner - to engineer a better future for Guilford county - by fixing things that don’t work and improving things that do!- Accountability to the taxpayers
- Fixing things that aren’t working.
- Improving things that do work, but can be done better.
Informing all citizens of how property taxes affect their rent (if they aren’t home owners), their children’s and grandchildren’s education, and our overall quality of living in Guilford County.
I did that for several years until I went off to college.
