Biography
Myrick is a retired teacher and coach from the Baldwin County Public Schools. He has been in education for more than 30 years.[1]

In District 3, newcomer Tony Myrick defeated incumbent Elmer G. McDaniel the Republican primary runoff election on July 15, 2014. In Districts 5 and 6, incumbent Angie Swiger and newcomer Cecil Christenberry advanced over their competitors in the Republican primary on June 3, 2014. All candidates were unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.
