Biography
After graduating from college, Rose worked at Amdahl Corporation in Sunnyvale, California. In 1993, he returned to North Carolina and began working for Integon Insurance Company and McGladrey & Pullen Accounting Firm. Rose then became a consultant in the computer and networking field. For the past 15 years, he has been an assistant director of information and systems technology at Elon University.
Rose is on the board of directors for D.A.R.E. Burlington and the Burlington Crimestoppers. He is also a member of the Education Council of the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce and of Agape Baptist Church. Rose is married and has two children.[1]

2014
Three at-large seats on the Alamance-Burlington Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Tony Rose was the only incumbent running for re-election. He ran against challengers Greg Beavers, Tom Gamble, Allison Gant, Ron Harber, Mark T. Payne, Heather Sorrell and Jeremy Teetor.
Grant, Rose and Payne won the open seats.
