Campaign themes

2014

Rose's campaign website listed his themes for 2014:

What issues do you want to focus on? What would be your biggest priority?

There are six main areas on which I plan to focus. These are:

  • implementing the newly developed strategic plan
  • hiring a qualified and outstanding superintendent
  • hiring and retaining excellent classroom teachers
  • advocating for students, teachers, and parents
  • ensuring safe and orderly classroom environments
  • increasing the use of learning technologies
  • building consensus among board members and county commissioners.

All of these areas are important, but my top priority would be the successful implementation of the strategic plan.
