Tony Salas was born in Pharr, Texas. His career experience includes working as a business development specialist.[1]
Salas founded the Greater Houston Trucking Association. He has served on the board of the Secured Finance Network and on a specialized committee of the Greater Houston Partnership.[2]

|Currently, Tony, works in finance as a business development specialist, doing commercial lending to small and medium sized companies. In less than two years, he has scaled to become Vice-President of his division.
Tony had his first exposure to politics, after forming The Greater Houston Trucking Association to solve the myriad of problems faced by independent truckers. He sits on the board of the Secured Finance Network and a specialized committe at The Greater Houston Partnership.- Our economy needs to be restored to pre-pandemic levels through legislative and regulatory oversight.
- We need to reform education by slashing the glut of management costs and creating a student/teacher centric model.
