My wife, Sharron and I have eight children including three sons and five daughters. We have had the honor to adopt our daughters from the foster care system. After being a foster parent for over 18 years, I realize even more how much the family role impacts our children future. I want my children and your children to be able to grow up with the same freedoms and security that I was lucky to have. I ran a successful mortgage brokerage for over 25 years. For the past three years, I have been the founder and President of Constitutional KY. Our primary focus has been educating young students and adults on the United States Constitution and the Kentucky Constitution.
  • School choice to provide better education for our children
  • We need to get people back to work.
  • Reduce our tax burden on our citizens
Education and getting our business back to full capacity.
God first and foremost. My father, although he passed away years ago. I still use the lessons he taught me to raise my children and how to treat others
Integrity, willing to tell people what they need to hear, not what you think they want to hear.Listening
The courage to stand up to those who have their own agenda and to those who are willing to pass bills contradicting the Constitution
Passing Constitutional bills. Listening to people and explaining bills
My legacy would be to be considered a good father, husband and community leader.
The death of President Kennedy. I was 6 years old. I remember to this day the look on my teachers face . Shock was hard to describe at 6, but as time went by her feelings were forever ingrained in my mind.
I helped deliver milk at the age of 12. I worked for 2 summers. It taught be to be on time and the little money I made helped me be more independent
Old man in the Sea. It was about the battle between a man and his prey.
Leadership does not always mean experience. It means earning respect from others, sharing the stage with others who trust you. Leadership is helping others get things done.
Finding true common ground . Our country under current leadership will continue to fail. The administration needs to understand the Constitution does not give them permission to own the lives of everyone.
I believe two term would be a good goal. I do not plan spending anymore than that, unless circumstance would require it. Such as no one running to fill the seat.
Savannah Maddox has been a light that others should follow. She leads by . She is not perfect but always has her mind on the people of her district.
I think bills that raise revenue usually means someone is going to have to pay for a new tax, fees etc... We can't provide income for entities that cannot become self sustaining.
