|- Abolishing Property Taxes, and working with State Legislators to reform tax system for residential and family farms.
- I support Rainwater for Governor's plan to amend the State's constitution to abolish Asset Forfeiture. No Hoosier should have the home they own taken away because they couldn't pay the property taxes.
- School Choice for parents. Create a vibrate educational landscape that benefits all Hoosier families so children can grow up and thrive in our society.

Campaign website
Hudson’s campaign website stated the following:
“ |
Tonya Hudson for Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor I am honored to be the 2024 Libertarian candidate for Lieutenant Governor. I’m looking forward to working with Donald Rainwater for Governor to improve the lives of our fellow Hoosiers. As a Real Estate Broker, I understand the need for Hoosiers to have access to affordable housing. We need to remove the burdensome personal Property Tax, and Indiana’s income tax. As Lieutenant Governor and President of the State Senate, I will assist the Libertarian Governor and work with our legislators to reform our tax code. For more detailed information, go to https://www.RainwaterforIndiana.com/issues The Department of Education is too big at both the federal and state level. Major reforms are needed in Indiana, Hoosier parents need better school choice options. Freedom to choose what is best for you and your family is essential. As a former candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, IN District 9 (Tonya for Congress), I expressed the need to abolish the Department of Education at the federal level and return the wasted tax dollars back to the people in every state. As a former congressional candidate, I also supported the MORE Act which would decriminalize both medical cannabis and recreational marijuana at the federal level. Indiana trails the majority of the states in our Union that recognize the scientific benefits of cannabis for medical treatment as well as the revenue other states receive from sales tax. As Lt. Governor, and President of the Senate, I will work with our legislators to make these products legally available for sale in Indiana. Tonya Hudson Donald Rainwater received the 2024 Libertarian nomination for Governor. I know that Donald is the leader Hoosiers need and I support his candidacy. Indiana Hoosiers deserve better than the restrictive administrations of the past.[2] |
