Torrey Westrom
Torrey Westrom (Republican Party) is a member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 12. He assumed office on January 8, 2013. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.
Westrom (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Minnesota State Senate to represent District 12. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on August 11, 2026.[source]
Westrom was also a 2014 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of Minnesota.[1] Westrom ran uncontested for the Republican nomination in the primary on August 12, 2014.[2] He was defeated by Collin Peterson (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3]
Westrom served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 11 from 1997 to 2013.
Biography
Westrom earned his B.A. in political science/Business Administration from Bemidji State University and his J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law. His professional experience includes working as an attorney and realtor.[4]
