Touchet School District 300 Operations Tax Levy Replacement Proposition (February 2013)
A Touchet School District 300 Operations Tax Levy Replacement proposition was approved on the February 12, 2013 election ballot in Walla Walla County, which is in Washington.
This proposition authorized the Touchet School District to impose a replacement property tax levy of $684,355 per year for three years in order to fund maintenance and operations of the District. The estimated rate for this tax is 3.24 mills ($3.24 per $1,000 of assessed valuation).[1]

“ | The Board of Directors of Touchet School District No. 300 adopted Resolution No. 05-2012-2013, concerning a proposition to finance educational programs, maintenance and operations. This proposition would authorize the District to meet the educational needs of its students by levying the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, for the support of the District’s General Fund educational programs, maintenance and operations expenses:[2] | ” |
