A Town of Mammoth Lakes Sales Tax, Measure R ballot question was on the June 3, 2008 ballot for voters in the Town of Mammoth Lakes in Mono County, California, where it was approved.
Measure R raised the sales tax in the town by 1/2 cent. The funds from the tax are earmarked for the development of trails, parks and other recreational opportunities in Mammoth Lakes.
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.
