Ballotpedia biographical submission form
The candidate completed Ballotpedia's biographical information submission form:
“ | What is your political philosophy?
I'm running because I've been in a classroom where decisions about staffing and curriculum prevented me from being as good for my students as possible. I want to work with the board to ensure that schools, and especially students and teachers, are receiving the supports and resources that they need to be successful, whether those supports relate to curriculum or to the holistic welfare of the community, including students, their families, and the school and community. Is there anything you would like to add? I plan to take a pragmatic, thoughtful, and intentional approach to creating change in our district, and also plan to incorporate student, family, and community voices every step of the way. In every position I've occupied, I've learned the most from my students and the communities we live and work in, and I feel like it is my duty to bring those voices to this position.[3] |
