Prior to her judicial election in 2014, Boyd ran her own law firm of Traci H. Boyd, PSC in Lexington, Kentucky, focusing on family law. She had also previously worked for the firms of McCoy, West, Frankin & Beal, and Boyd & Boyd, PLLC.[1]
