I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the daughter of a

construction worker and a stay-at-home mom. I grew up in Oshkosh where I was awarded a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in education. Unable to afford to live on a teacher salary, I went into retail management and ultimately relocated to the Washington, DC area. Since I have been in Missouri, I have worked in the HR field in various capacities including recruiting, employee relations, unemployment and workers compensation. We are members of New Hope Presbyterian Church where I serve as an Elder and head of the Missions committee. I am active with the St Charles Democratic Committee; I serve on the Candidate Advisory Committee and am a member of the MDP LGBTQ+ and MDP Women’s Caucus."

  • I believe that access to healthcare is a fundamental right and not a privilege.
  • I believe that every child in Missouri should have access to a free, quality, public education regardless of zip code.
  • I support reasonable firearm policies that promote public safety and crime prevention without infringing on second amendment rights
I believe in equal treatment under the law for every Missourian regardless of race, color, age, physical, intellectual, and/or developmental abilities, economic status, religion, creed, sex, national origin, ethnicity, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. I support adding "sexual orientation and gender identity" to the non-discrimination laws and policies of our state, and the passage of hate crime legislation to protect equal rights.
