I have always been a sensitive and quiet person, but several difficult life circumstances have revealed that I also have great inner strength, resilience and confidence in knowing that while my spirit may get bruised, it can never be broken. We all do regrettable things and stumble at times and there will be people who will gleefully mock or attack you- unfortunately they miss the beauty of redemption and grace- Yes, we can reach out and help others learn from our life lessons and offer them the beauty of grace and hope of living a life with value and purpose.
  • Restoring federalism and all other first principles
  • Achieve Economic Growth and job opportunities
  • Promote virtues, independence and self-governance
1) Economic growth: provide tax incentives for businesses to launch and thrive in Montana so our children don't have to leave in order to make a living. We CAN bring prosperity to our citizens, be good stewards of our land and protect our environment so we should stop being held hostage by the environmental extremists. Become a Right to Work State.

2) Reduce the cost of Healthcare invoking free-market principles
3) Aggressively go after the root causes of the drug epidemic
4) Education: School choice.

5) Tax credits for self-governance: Constitutional Comprehension, Exemplified Virtues, Community Service and Acts of Courage
I look up to authentic people- I see them as the bravest among us. Authenticity is so rare in the age of political correctness, social media and the use of shaming to silence people and independent thinkers. I detest the underhanded, vitriolic environment of politics. In order for our governmental system to work in a balanced and proper manner, we the people have a duty to serve- it is a basic patriotic responsibility; however, some groups (who claim to be Constitutionalists) like to deny this basic right to others who won't toe their line like a brainless stooge.

I am inspired by people who speak the truth even if their voice shakes. I am inspired by people who stand up against the mob. I look up to those who serve in our military. I am inspired by perseverance. I am inspired by those who do good deeds without seeking credit. I am inspired by humility and courage.

Of all the people who inspire me , few are politicians, professional athletes, actors, or lawyers who seem to hold themselves superior- no, the people I find inspiring are all to often unrecognized- they are found in our clinics, stores, factories, fields, churches and our military.
Yes, take Hillsdale's course on the Constitution- it's free and informative.
I also recommend books written by Mark Levin, Senator Mike Lee, Thomas Sowell, and Rand Paul. The Great Courses offer many series that provide a historical perspective of our founding that the progressives would like to pretend doesn't exist.
1) Be Proud of America

2) Be Honest, forthright and faithful to our first principles
3) Possess no inkling of superiority
4) Be BOLD or go home
5) Take no shit from anyone
6) promote the betterment of mankind
7) Don't play games

8) Work like we have a country to save- because we do!
I have great intuition, an investigative drive to comprehend everything, an inner strength, proven resilience I and have always been a problem solver.

I have risen from hardships wiser, stronger and more determined than ever to stay true to who I am.
I wholeheartedly believe in the truism that all men are created equal.
I believe we cannot carry on doing the same old things and expect different outcomes.
I believe Freedom must not be taken for granted.

I believe that silence is consent.

1) Uphold the Constitution

2) Promote our Declaration's principles
3) Keep your District informed on the happenings taking place in their Capitol
4) Protect individual liberty, mores and all inalienable rights

5) Restore federalism
I was just over two years old when President Kennedy was assassinated, but I remember the shock and the grief that seemed to deeply effect everyone in a way similar to how the terrorist attack on 9/11 left everyone in a state of shocking disbelief, deep sorrow and gazing off into unanswering space as if we are all asking the WHY. Why do evil people wreak havoc on the world? I haven't the answer, but I do know that we must become better at being the force for good.
I spent several years as a barber in an upscale sports plaza prior to my most rewarding "job" as a stay at home Mom.
Lately it's Bob Seger's Like a Rock that has been stuck in my head- The world needs more people standing firm on principles- I spend a lot of time on the tractor with a radio that doesn't tune anything in so I listen to gospel, Celtic music and anything by Nat King Cole, and Louis Armstrong
Just like our founders emphasized, having two separate chambers provides checks and balances- and I believe in the checks and balances that limit any government power or abuse of it.
Not necessarily, like I referred to above, experience in politics can be used as a gate-keeper: denying others the honor and opportunity to bring in much needed solutions, energy and courage. To be candid- we take an oath to uphold our Constitution- not some high school like cliques.
The most important attributes to possess is a passion for performing the main constitutional duty as a state legislator- abdicating this duty just to get re-elected or keep your "friends" in the clique is cowardice and unacceptable.
Montana's greatest challenge is paying for the entitlement/victimhood/dependent mentality that has been promoted in our culture.
We need to promote self-responsibly, independence and resilience- as these are the attributes which provide dignity and empowers individuals to reach their full potential and live bravely, boldly and admirably.
Montana has elected a Republican legislature while electing a democrat governor- this has resulted in frustration for consistent representation of values for most Montanans, especially given the distinctive ideology and moral differences between the two parties. Republicans promote our founders hard fought independence while the Left ensures failure and promotes dependence upon the success of those who live with our American independent spirit and tenacity.
A governor reveals their true faith in or lack of faith in his fellow Montanans with the bills he signs or rejects. A governor should be a champion for the State's success and financial stability and not a tool for the anti-capitalists and environmental alarmists.
I think it's more important to stay true to the oath to uphold the Constitution- if every legislator did that then we would have uniformity and not submitting to factions.
I would like to participate in Agriculture, Education, Energy& Federal Relations, Ethics, Natural Resource, Judiciary, Children HHS, State Administration & veteran's affairs, Healthcare and Law and Justice.
Definitely, I would like to lead the legislators to be as courageous in actions as they are in rhetoric.
Many legislators have this idea that they are the bulwarks of liberty but are they truly? What have they achieved in publicly supporting and promoting our principles of liberty?
