Transportation Committee, Alaska State Senate
The Transportation Committee is a standing committee of the Alaska State Senate.
Per the Uniform Rules, committees of the Alaska State Senate are assigned by the Committee on Committees. The Committee on Committees is appointed and chaired by the presiding officer and has five members. Committees are assigned after each election. What constitutes a quorum for committees is not defined.[1]

Function
Per Uniform Rule 20-a, the Transportation Committee is to consider "programs and activities of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities relating to transportation and other legislative matters relating to transportation."[2]
