Travis Kavulla
Travis Kavulla (b. August 15, 1984) is a former vice-chair and District 1 member of the Montana Public Service Commission. Kavulla, a Republican, was first elected November 2, 2010.[1] Kavulla was ineligible to run for re-election in 2018 because of term-limits.
A February 2013 article in Governing named Kavulla as one of the top state Republican officials to watch in 2013.[2] He won re-election without opposition in 2014.
Biography
A journalist by trade, Kavulla served as editor of National Review from 2006 to 2007. At the time of the 2010 election, he worked as a freelancer.[1]

The youngest regulatory commissioner in state history, Kavulla was elected in November 2010 at the age of 26.[3]

Travis Kavulla was not able to file for re-election due to term limits.
2014
Kavulla was running for re-election as Montana Public Service Commissioner in the 2014 election.[4] Kavulla was uncontested in the primary election on June 3, 2014. Travis Kavulla won the general election on November 4, 2014, without opposition.
2010
Kavulla won election on November 2, 2010, defeating Democrat Don Ryan.[5]
