Travis Riggs

Travis Riggs represented the Zone 5 seat on the Bentonville School District Board of Education in Arkansas. He was elected to the board in the general election that was held on September 16, 2014. He previously served on the board for 12 years before resigning in 2013. He cited scheduling as the reason for his resignation.[1]
Biography
Riggs earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. Riggs' professional experience includes working as a certified public accountant and as the owner of Riggs & Associates.[2]

In the September 16, 2014, general election, incumbent Willie Cowgur ran against newcomer Kirsten Johnston for the Zone 4 seat. Former board member Travis Riggs challenged incumbent Lisa Clark for the Zone 5 seat.
