Biography
Tranel owned and operated his own dairy farm, Tranel Farms USA, Inc, before assuming office. He is a graduate of Loras College with degrees in economics and finance.[1]

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Chad Henneman was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Travis Tranel was unopposed in the Republican primary. Henneman and Tranel faced off in the general election.[6][7] Incumbent Tranel defeated Henneman in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[8]
