John Pipkin III (also known as Trea) is a judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals. He assumed office on April 10, 2020. His current term ends on December 31, 2028.

Pipkin ran in a special election for judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals. He won in the special general election on May 24, 2022.

Before his appointment to the appellate court, Pipkin served as a judge on the Henry County Superior Court beginning on January 9, 2018.[1]

Pipkin ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 111. Pipkin lost to Brian Strickland in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012. Bill Blackmon was unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
