Connecticut: In the Hardford District Superior Court this week, the trial begins for a blogger accused of threatening government officials. Two years ago Harold Turner was arrested for telling his Catholic readers to take up arms against lawmakers and threatening "beastly government officials" with death for ignoring the Constitution.[1]

Jury selection started last week and the trial it set to begin this Thursday. The state accuses Turner of one count of felony inciting injury to persons and one court of misdemeanor threatening. The defendant pleaded not guilty, claiming that this is a First Amendment protected free speech issue.[1]
