Tricia Ferrell is a judge for the District Court of Nassau County in New York. She was appointed to the court in March 2008 and elected that November.[1] She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[2]

Primary: She was defeated in the Independence primary on September 9, 2014, receiving 12.7 percent of the vote. She competed against Eileen J. Goggin, Robert E. Pipia, Darlene D. Harris, Fred J. Hirsh, C. William Gaylor, Ignatius L. Muscarella and Michael A. Ciaffa. Additionally, she ran on the Democratic party line, though there was no primary for that party.
General: She faced Eileen J. Goggin, Robert E. Pipia, Darlene D. Harris, Fred J. Hirsh, C. William Gaylor, Ignatius L. Muscarella and Michael A. Ciaffa in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 12.39 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for four open seats.

Education
Ferrell received a B.A. in urban legal studies from City College of New York in 1995, and a J.D. from Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1998.[1]
