- Trine knows that even in Kyrene, educators are doing more with less. She stands with our educators in advocating for better funding, especially for Special Education and classroom support professionals. Trine’s priority is recruiting, developing, and retaining effective teachers, administrators, and staff to educate and nurture all our children.
- Trine is an educator, mom, and proven advocate for students and parents. She believes every student deserves a quality educational experience, one that responds to their unique emotional and academic needs. When we design environments with student individuality and safety in mind, everyone benefits.
- Trine Nelson knows that Kyrene is strongest when we collaborate and include a cross-section of perspectives in our community. As the co-chair of the 2021 Override election that brought critical funding to our schools and a longtime member of the Superintendent’s Community Council, Trine values listening, planning & community engagement.
