- Protecting Our Freedoms
In Southern Indiana we hold dear our freedom, knowing that respect is the best assurance that freedom is preserved. Privacy and freedom go hand in hand. Personal freedom is the strongest safeguard against government intrusion in our lives and is essential to building strong communities.
- Caring for People Today Builds a Better Tomorrow Trish understands that an affordable place to live, access to affordable childcare and eldercare, and a system that treats mental and physical health with the priority people in Southern Indiana deserve.
- Public Service is Not Self-Service Last legislative session, lobbyists handed out more than $20.7 million in gifts to legislators for expensive meals, sports tickets, and trips. Too many legislators believe lobbyists, other legislators, and big-money special interests are their constituents. Trish will join the few Republican and Democratic legislators who refuse to take gifts from lobbyists. Deals made behind closed doors only benefit special interests, and Trish will resist the cronyism that is at the root of corruption.
