Two Trotwood-Madison & West Carrollton School District Levy Addition measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Trotwood-Madison and West Carrollton school district areas which are in Montgomery County.

Both measures were defeated

The Trotwood-Madison measure was designed to increase the school levy by $0.40 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of time in order to continue to pay for school district expenses.

The question on the ballot:

Trotwood-Madison Measure: An additional tax for the benefit of the Trotwood-Madison City School District for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 4 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.40 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]

West Carrollton Measure: An additional tax for the benefit of the West Carrollton City School District for the purpose of CURRENT OPERATING EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 2.25 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.225 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
